There is still a looooonnnngggg way to go with this one, but Georgia at least appears to be in heavy consideration for Adams. And, if I were the betting kind, I’d easily say that Clemson is the only other school getting serious consideration at this point. At one time, the Auburn Tigers looked to be heavily in the mix, but issues regarding the stability of their coaching staff likely has a lot of upper-echelon guys rethinking some things.
In the long-run, don’t read too much into anything Adams says as he’s not giving up much, but if he does show up at Auburn this weekend, it’s yet another opportunity for the Bulldogs to play well and make a good impression. Last season, when the Dawgs were set to clinch the SEC East, they played tight and with very little motivation against a flailing Kentucky. They don’t need a repeat of that performance against Auburn.
There still appears to be a lot of traction to this story where Clemson’s move on Terry is concerned, but my thoughts on the situation remain the same: Terry will sign with Georgia in the end.
