NFL Draft 2014: Aaron Murray Continues to Trend Upward

The Aaron Murray train has gained steam since his Pro Day. Photo: Online Athens

This bit of praise was offered by CBS’ own Gary Danielson:

When you consider how many Georgia fans cannot stand Gary Danielson for what appears to be an SEC bias towards a few of the SEC’s more “popular” teams, this comment offers a strong bit of praise. It also speaks to a growing trend for Aaron Murray—one where he is actually getting publicity that isn’t centered around his size, so called lack of “arm strength”, or inability to win big games (yes, people are still saying this).

That’s a very good thing because it means he could potentially land a bit higher in the draft than initially thought.

Now, I still don’t know that he’ll climb into second round territory (although there have been some publications willing to make that bold prediction), but the positive buzz speaks well of his ability to so far prove that there’s a lot more to him than people initially imagined.

I think Aaron Murray will be one of those players who’ll be looked back on as a steal in this draft.

I’m surprised Gray Danielson got Aaron’s name right!

He does have a tendency to forget names, doesn’t he?
