Five-star offensive line prospect Laremy Tunsil doesn’t give much away where his recruitment is concerned, but he did offer a Top 3—to Rivals.com recruiting analyst Mike Farrell—of Georgia (the school he states he likes “everything” about in this interview), Alabama, and Ole Miss, with Florida State coming in at fourth (due in large part to his former recruiter at Alabama, Jeremy Pruitt, now being in Tallahassee).
That said, Tunsil states that both Georgia and Alabama feel like “home” to him and he considers the two schools to be on equal footing as of now. However, he’s also made it known that current Alabama running back commit Derrick Henry is much of the reason why he still holds significant interest in the Tide; Henry and Tunsil are good friends and it is no secret that the former Georgia commit wants Tunsil in Tuscaloosa with him next season and Tunsil is definitely considering that possibility in the decision process.
There is still a good ways to go in this one but, if I had to make a gut-guess on Tunsil, I’d say he ends up at Georgia—for now.
