Georgia Recruiting: Is “Alvin Kamara to Alabama” Already a Foregone Conclusion [VIDEO]

The whispers and innuendo I’m hearing surrounding talented tailback Alvin Kamara would lead many to believe that he’s bound for the Crimson Tide. However, there is a smidgen of hope that Georgia can change his trajectory and that will likely begin and end with his upcoming official visit this weekend. Kamara himself has already stated that the visit will be “crucial” and he’s certainly coming into it with an open mind.

I am not a 'journalist' by trade, nor do I present myself as such. I am just a wife, mother, and Georgia Bulldog fan who likes to write about two of her favorite things: the Georgia Bulldogs and college football. I write. You read...it's a give and take experience.

As I mentioned to another commenter, the video is vague about Kamara’s leanings, yes, but there are a lot of folks who feel he’ll end up at Bama.
I hope this weekend changes that as well.

And don’t forget about A.J. Turman; he’s getting lost in all the Kamara talk but he could be one to watch.

I don’t quite get from this video or recent comments from Kamara that he is leaning towards Alabama. It seems he is keeping his cards close to the vest and its obviously going to come down to Georgia and Alabama. After this weekend maybe we’ll have a little bit clearer picture. This is just my opinion but maybe I’m a little biased. Go Dawgs

The video is less revealing than the rising chatter surrounding it.

I’ve heard for a few weeks now that Kamara is leaning towards the Tide, despite his Twitter acclimation of otherwise. That said, I’m hoping that a weekend in Athens changes that for him.

I have no inside information and this is just a blind speculation but I think we get Kamara and Foster… Just all those videos back over the summer and early fall of those two and Tray clowning around and I think they will have a blast this weekend and realize how much fun they will all have together at UGA. Go Dawgs.

I’m hoping your right. Kamara is a unique talent and would fit very well in Bobo’s offense. I think Tunsil is already a silent commit to UGA. Adam’s mother loves Richt, so I put UGA in the lead over Clemson. I also think we have a better than average shot of landing Ballamy as well.
