E.J.Price has certainly made his recruitment an interesting one thus far. His relationship—or lack thereof—with the Georgia Bulldogs coaching staff has continually been the subject of debate, since his de-committment: is he on their radar or have both moved on? No one can say for sure and, depending on who you ask, the conversation is either based in fact or fiction.
At this point, it’s neither here nor there because neither side is saying much.
My opinion remains the same: he’s got more than a few options on the table and he’s pursuing every one—as is Georgia. Do I see them ending up with each other in the end? Not likely, but it’s clear Price still enjoys hanging out with other Georgia targets, at Georgia games, and that won’t likely change.
Price was in town for the Dawgs win over South Carolina this weekend and, as always, he left with a good impression.
“It was a big win,” Price said. “It was 52-20, I believe. One of the things our coach punched on was that Coach Richt, in his post-game interview, said ‘We had our best week of practice.’ Our coach hits on that a lot. We have to have our best week of practice. They were definitely clicking on all cylinders. I was very impressed with the Dawgs. Sanford Stadium, it’s always crazy in there. It was great getting up there.” – (Jake Reuse, UGASports.com)
Price will announce his destination on January 9 at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl Game.
