There isn’t much left to do but the waiting as far as 2015 defensive back prospect Rashad Roundtree (Evans, GA) is concerned. The 4-star safety out of Lakeside High School is well aware that the Georgia Bulldogs want him in the red and black next season, but it’s becoming clear that his flirtation with the Urban Meyer coached Ohio State Buckeyes is giving him something to think about too:
“I have a team I feel like is leading but I’m not 100 percent,” Roundtree. “Like maybe 60/40. That’s probably it. I just want to see a few more schools and talk with some coaches. Just see a few things before I make a decision.
The four-star safety is coming off a visit to Georgia for the Vanderbilt game and will visit Ohio State officially on November 1, just a few days before he decides. (Jake Rowe, Dawgs247)
Ohio State will, presumably, be the only other school Roundtree visits—aside from Georgia—at this point, so it is a bit worrisome that they are going to be the team freshest on his mind before he makes an official decision on where he’ll commit.
That said, the Georgia coaching staff has spent a great deal of time building a good relationship with Roundtree, so you have to hope that will play the biggest role when all is said and done.
