The Georgia Bulldogs are looking for a few good men at linebacker and Christian Miller is one of a handful of guys they have pegged as a potential must-have for this recruiting season. The South Carolina native recently took a visit to Athens and had a “phenomenal” time talking with the coaches and seeing how the Bulldogs get things done on the practice field, but with multiple schools vying for his signature, where do the Dawgs stand?
Miller says that this visit to Athens has definitely put Georgia in the mix for his signature and for a variety of reasons.
“I’m just going into each and every visit to see if I feel comfortable and see if I like the place. The visit to Georgia made me realize that it is definitely a school that I’m very interested in,” Miller said. “They have a lot to offer with the really nice business program. That program would be a great fit for me. They also fit well scheme wise with the 3-4 defense and it is just a great town, too. They just have a lot to offer and they are definitely in the running for it.” (Jake Rowe, Rivals)
Miller has been a hot commodity since de-committing from the Florida Gators and, while Georgia is definitely getting a strong look from him, I get the feeling he’ll end up back with the Gators when it’s all said and done. That said, it’s still early in the process, and Miller’s openness to all-comers (particularly those running a 3-4) could work in the Dawgs’ favor.
