Georgia Recruiting: 2013 OL DeVondre Seymour is All Dawg

DeVondre Seymour is likely prep school bound, but still a solid pick-up for the Bulldogs on the eve of Signing Day.

Georgia has been hard at work trying to fill the void left by the presumably Ole Miss bound Laremy Tunsil and they hope to have lessened the damage with the pledge of DeVondre Seymour.

Seymour is a 6’6, 300 pound offensive lineman out of North Gwinnett High School; he is also the son of former Georgia defensive great Richard Seymour.

As of now it looks like the young man will have to attend prep school in order to qualify, but there is still a very slight chance he can make it in this summer with the rest of his class; we’ll have to wait and see.

For those who are wondering if this was a last minute offer by the Bulldogs, it was not; Georgia has been watching and evaluating Seymour for over a year and see him as a prospect with potential, but in need of more development before he’s able to come in and contribute to his chosen team.

Auburn was thought to be the other option for him, but Georgia won out in the end.
