Georgia Football: Todd Gurley, “…nobody’s gonna feel sorry for us”

Todd Gurley, telling it like it T-I-is…

He’s right, ya know? Outside of the Georgia fan base, no one will remember the reason why this football team didn’t return to the SEC Championship Game this year; all they’ll remember is there was a young defense that could never seem to get it together, an offense that was prolific, but didn’t always make plays, and a coaching staff that maybe, at times, let the team down with overly conservative play calling.

It is what it is.

That said, the Gator Bowl offers a shot at something positive—both for the guys coming back next season and the ones exiting stage left after it—as it’s another chance to close out the year with a victory, and hopefully set the tone for another productive and focused spring.
