Georgia Football: Grantham on Tajh Boyd, “…he reminds me a lot of Donovan McNabb”

So, first coach Richt made news (too much news if you ask me) for calling South Carolina’s Jadeveon Clowney the best player “in the world”, and now Todd Grantham is saying Clemson QB Tajh Boyd reminds him of former Philadelphia Eagles Pro Bowler Donovan McNabb. Geez guys, you sure are handing out some hefty compliments to the opposition this year.

That said, he also makes a subtle dig (intended or not) at Death Valley—see if you catch it.

…”if we were at home it’d be a bit louder”; I’m thinking Grantham’s guys aren’t the least bit concerned about the crowd noise at Clemson (I mean they do play in the SEC and it will hardly be as deafening as what they faced at Williams-Brice last season)—that’s good to know since executing their assignments is what will really matter on Saturday.
