Two things stand out here:
1) Murray always intended to return for his senior season; he just wanted to make a clear headed decision and not one based on competitive emotion.
2) He wants to be more mobile next season. One thing that is very certain about Murray is he is a dangerous quarterback when he’s rolling out of the pocket, He flashed a lot more of that skill late in the season, but it was always curious to me why he didn’t do it more—my guess is because of the lack of quality depth behind him.
In any event, Murray seems clear, focused, and ready to go out on top his senior season.
